To start this edition of E3, Sony left us an extensive trailer and game-play of the game The Last of Us II in which we see Ellie much older as our main character.
For Destiny 2 they left us with the trailer for the Forsaken expansion, which will focus on the story of Cayde-6, one of the main characters in Destiny 2.
After 7 months of the trailer of the feudal Japan-based game, Sony showed us the first game-play of Ghost of Tsushima, with which we can get a better idea of the combat system.
Another interesting game that Sony presented to us was Control, a 3rd person adventure game where we can see that the scenario will play an important role since we will be able to control it in its great majority, as its title indicates.
We couldn’t miss the remakes and, although it wasn’t Final Fantasy 7, it surprised us with Resident Evil 2 Remake. Same trailer as its predecessor, but with graphics that will make your fans reopen their wallets and take their controls. In this video we can see the change after 20 years.
But the first protagonist of Sony in this E3 is Kingdom Hearts 3, of which they showed us another trailer centered this time in the new world of pirates of Pirates of the Caribbean, to which they have given a much less childish and more adult aesthetic.
After the presentation of a trailer at the E3 in 2016 in which we were not told much more than the aesthetics of a dark post-apocalyptic planet without an iota of life, we were shown a game-play of DeathStranding, the new Hideo Kojima. With a 3rd-person view of our main character Norman Reedus, better known for his role as Daryl in The Walking Dead, our goal will be to transport goods as a messenger, from weapons to inert bodies, to different points while we run away from some species of black spirits… No doubt we will have to wait until we can play it to get a clearer idea of this game.
Nioh 2 was also announced in this E3 although few details are known about this second release. Perhaps a more demonic aesthetic awaits us this one.
A new Spider-man game for Play Station 4 was also announced for September 7, 2018. In the new trailer and extensive game-play that was shown to us we have been able to see iconic characters and the gameplay mode with a variety of combinations to defeat their enemies.
Finally they left us with a new title for the VR, Déraciné, from Hidetaka Miyazaki, who surprised us by going out of his style of third-person combat games so much.
